Wilder Lazo is an award-winning coffee grower, known for producing the highest quality Geisha Coffee in Colombia.
The Lazo family have faced many challenges through the years; most notably having to leave their farm after a devastating fire. They returned to it with dedication, rebuilding their entire crop.
Wilder’s story is a reminder of the importance of perseverance and working hard with love. His farm is a charming place where they cultivate rare coffee to some of the highest standards in the world.
The Process:
Coffee cherries are first selected through flotation. The highest quality Cherries are then submerged inside tanks for 7 days, ensuring pH to levels are consistently above 5. The cherries are then rinsed and laid on patios for a drying period of 25 days. After drying is finished, the coffee is stored for stabilisation before being exported.
