Back in 1995, the Bayter Family rolled up their sleeves and dove headfirst into the agricultural scene at El Vergel farm, growing the red and yellow caturra varietals. 

Their claim to fame is the Koji fermentation process, a game-changer in coffee processing. The Bayter family’s mission is to blend tech magic with coffee passion and sprinkle a little extra joy into the lives of everyone at El Vergel Estate.

The caffeine extraction of this coffee occurs by washing the coffee with a solvent obtained naturally from the fermentation of sugar cane. The coffee is washed until the caffeine is reduced to the desired level. The outcome is a smooth, flavourful, and highly enjoyable cup - with notes of almond, maple syrup and dark chocolate.
